Top Online Poker Rooms Series – Titan Poker

Today’s Internet is indeed loaded with a vast selection of all sorts of online poker rooms. They all offer highly attractive bonuses, top gambling action and superb gaming offers. However, a poker room like Titan Poker has something special to offer that others simply lack. It’s the financial security, game integrity and players’ privacy that we are talking about.

The Internet has long since proved to be a rather reliable platform for financial transactions. Yet, most players still have serious concerns regarding the issue because occasional stories of great frauds are still heard of. This makes conveying trustworthiness a difficult task for Internet gambling websites to achieve. Titan Poker, however, is another story altogether. Cooperating with only the most reputable e-wallets, such as FirePay and Moneybookers, this online poker website has players’ financial security issues more than covered.

According to onlinepokereport, both FirePay and Moneybookers, as well as other Titan Poker’s Internet payment service providers, such as MyCitadel and Click2Pay, are well established e-wallets operating over the Internet for quite sometime now. These companies put their reputation on the line with each transaction, making sure nothing risks it on a daily basis.

In addition, Titan Poker operators invest great efforts to keep the games they run honest, fair and pleasant. Preventing schemes and maintaining transparency has become their primary goal. Titan Poker uses a combination of automated and human supervising tools to spot and prevent any suspicious activities or incidences of collusion among players. Advanced algorithms developed by seasoned poker experts are designed to set off system events in case suspicion is aroused. Titan Poker’s sophisticated monitoring system never fails in detecting any irregularity.

The privacy issue receives great attention as well. Titan Poker employs the utmost available means to ensure that your personal information remains undisclosed. All information is transferred using encryption technologies and is safely stored with the help of the latest firewall technologies. All players’ data is protected from being misused or lost.

Aside from the important issues mentioned above, the fact that Titan Poker offers very attractive bonuses does not hurt either. For instance, the poker room now features an excellent new bonus for newcomers. Any player who opens a Titan Poker account is offered an opportunity to win a Plasma Television set. A first time depositor is also entitled to a 50% of up to $200 Welcome bonus. There is also a handful of tournaments running at Titan, from $1,000,000 Tournament Titan to $50,000 Fort Knox Tournament. Other valuable perks are also available.

All in all, Titan Poker is an impressive online poker destination. They use software by industry-leading software provider PlayTech. This translates into honesty, integrity and high quality!

How to do the poker chip shuffle

February 27, 2010 by poker player

No doubt you’ve seen poker players on TV or at the tables in the live casinos shuffling their poker chips. Perhaps you’ve tried these tricks and found that they are not as easy to perform as they appear. It does take practice to perfect this technique, but it is not very difficult to master.

Start with eight chips heavy clay chips. Arrange them in two stacks of four. It is best to start off with a small number of chips when you are learning and as you learn the tricks, you can increase the number of chips in each stack. Use chips of two different colors as well Although you can practice with the ceramic chips that come with home poker games, they are not as good for learning with as the heavier ones used in casinos.

To start, place the pinky and the ring finger of your dominant hand on the side of the stack of chips on the right. Place your thumb and index finger on the other side of the stack. Your middle finger does not come into play in this part of the shuffle trick. Use a firm, but gentle pressure to bring the two stacks together. Don’t put too much pressure on the chips, though, because this will just cause the two stacks to collide and the chips will spill over.

Let the two stacks of chips come together so that they buckle towards each other in the middle. Keep a steady pressure on the chips without holding them too tightly. Now place your middle finger in under the point where the chips are raised off the table in the “V” formed by the chips. As you lift the chips with this finger, you will feel them gliding off both sides of your finger. When you maintain this pressure you will feel them starting to interlock.

Keep lifting the chips with your finger as the chips in each stack will start to fit in between each other. As your middle finger reaches the top of the stacks, keep applying pressure from the sides so that they start to form one stack. Use these fingers on the sides to push the chips together. The two stacks will start to interlace and then you just have to tidy them up so that you have one stack of 8 chips.

You will need to practice this technique many times before you get it right. Once you do, start from the beginning again to make sure you have it down pat. Then you can add a chip to each stack so that you are practicing with ten chips. As you add more and more chips, you will find that the trick gets easier even though you are working with higher stacks. Pretty soon you will be able to manage the larger stacks just like the pros.

Betting Limit: How to Pick One 4 U

Before you head for the nearest empty chair at an open poker table, hold on. There is one very important factor that you must check and verify before you start playing.

What? Check the betting limit of that particular table.
Why? This is what determines the professional skills of the poker players you will face and will also help you calculate approximately how much cash you need for this particular round of betting.

For the Casual Poker Fan:
You should try and begin by selecting a table with a low limit. Here, you will enjoy the relatively casual ambience and friendly opponents, who will not have a lot of experience playing and thus you stand a fair chance of winning. The slight problem with such games is that such kinds of tables are difficult to locate. In addition, those playing at such tables tend to play in a very conservative manner and this slows down the flow of the game. If you are still interested in looking for such tables you will be able to find them at the downtown casinos and gambling halls or at poker rooms not located on the Las Vegas strip itself such as the Palace Station.

Wish to Play Texas Holdem Instead?
Here too, select the lower limit games such as the 4/8 version. In this game, you will be allowed to increase only by four dollars and hence the name. Then, when you come to the last two betting rounds, you will have to double it to eight dollars. Likewise, you can also find the following limits: two and then four, three and then six, four and then eight, eight and then sixteen, fifteen and then thirty, thirty and then sixty and the last one which is pretty different to find (and which unless you are prepared to dish out large sums, you should avoid.) forty and then eight during the last two rounds of betting.

How Many Chips Should You Purchase In Such Games?
What you can do is multiply the end limit by about twenty and then make sure you have that amount. For example, if you wanted to join a table where the limit is two and then four. Multiply four into twenty and you get eighty. So, this is the sum of chips you must bring in to the game by buying them from the cash counters in the casino.

Another option is playing Texas holdem with no limits whatsoever, but beware. Such games pull pros and then you will find yourself at a big disadvantage.

For the Experienced Poker Player:
Most pros prefer playing Texas holdem than other poker games. And such professionals opt for games with no limit or that have a high limit of at least fifteen dollars. Beware, these tables (You can find them in the top casinos such as the Bellagio and others on the strip.) are places where you can lose hundreds of dollars in minutes so unless you are aware of this or unless you want to swim with the sharks because you consider yourself a shark too, stay away.

Conclusion:
Note that sometimes the tables might be occupied and it might take you a while to get a seat. Remember that this is not an online casino where tables are always open. Have patience and wait and do not leave and just join a higher or lower limit table than the one you have decided on. Remember that the outcome of your casino experience depends on this decision.

Online Casino Sites – Where Fools Rush in

Hurray! So you’ve decided at long last to take the online gambling plunge once and for all and claim your piece of the cyber-gaming euphoria. Welcome and the best of luck to you! Remember: It’s not whether you win or lose; it’s how much you win or lose. Actually, it’s all about enjoyment, so if you set out to wager with a limited budget that you’re perfectly comfortable with losing (God forbid), then we’re perfectly comfortably offering you an iron-clad guarantee that you’ll come out a winner with each and every session.

The Business of Pleasure

If, on the other hand, you’re sick and tired of losing money on the stock market and looking for new and modern ways to “play” with your money – for profit of course – what better way than to invest in learning the ins and outs of say blackjack, or roulette, or video poker. The number plus variety of online casino games for you to choose from will seriously amaze you, and the vast quantity of resources available online to teach you everything you need to know about the games, your chances of winning, as well as infinite tips and tricks to help you cash in, will also come as comforting news.

But wait! Before you settle on just any old online casino site because perhaps they’re offering – for instance – what appear to be the grandest free cash bonuses in the galaxy, or the highest payout rates, or both, we have three words of free advice for you: Bettor shop around. Not because you’re setting yourself up for a terrible disappointment; but as we see it; once you’ve decided to get in on the online gaming action and are embarking on locating an online casino which you’ll being playing at regularly, why not get the biggest bang for your buck?

There’s a whole lot more to determining what constitutes a favorable gambling site opposed to an unfavorable one. For instance, beware of those mega-bonus offers out there. While they may look sweet on the outside, the terms and conditions you must agree to in order to qualify for your free cash can wind up leaving a terrible taste in your mouth.

Customer Service = Success

Perhaps more important is whether or not the casino you’re about to marry not only advertises a Customer Support department, but actually delivers the goods and services. It’s not by mere coincidence that the leading gambling websites also boast the gaming industry’s finest customer service departments. Though still a very young industry, service in the gambling game pays hefty dividends by ensuring better player retention rates.

Sure, you’ve heard all kinds of horror stories about folks getting screwed by online casino website operators and payment processing companies. But the truth be told, these swindlers’ numbers are dwindling as increasingly more checks and balances are cropping up throughout the still unregulated (unfortunately) iGaming biz. Gambling blogs and forums are picking up where governments are failing miserably (surprise, surprise), especially with respect to protecting minors and folks with gambling problems. One helpful hint: If you’ve decided to deposit money with a particular casino, do yourself a favor and run a check on that venue by simply doing a Google or Yahoo! search. Any black marks on that site’s performance record will surface immediately.

Seek and Ye Shall Find

As a leading online casino portal with a constant eye on the web-based gambling world, we can attest to the fact that yes, there are indeed a number of less-than-legit gaming sites bent on no more than stealing players’ cash. A little investigative work prior to laying your chips on the table will reduce your mental as well as financial health risks significantly.
